Black Country Boating Festival does not receive any funding from council or government schemes. We therefore rely on sales across the bar and our amazing sponsors to ensure that all our costs are covered each and every year.
Without our valued sponsors running this event just wouldn’t be possible and its always a great way for us and our sponsors to show our love and commitment to the local and wider community. Below you can find details on this years sponsors and how to contact them directly.
We are Family Care Fostering, an independent fostering agency covering the Midlands and Northwest areas. Our mission is to significantly improve the lives of the children and young people we care for, and Since 1988, we have supported hundreds of young people on their journeys.
We are currently recruiting for kind-hearted individuals to make a life changing difference and join our family of foster carers.
We invite you to come and meet our friendly fostering team at The Black Country Boating Festival and ask any questions you have about becoming a foster carer.
We can’t wait to meet and talk with you all!

Thank you also to those below who have also contributed via donation to BCBF, these donations are gratefully received and play a huge part in helping us cover the costs of the festival.
BCBF is very lucky to have such a beautiful nature reserve to hold our event on. Bumble Hole nature reserve is a beautiful gem in Netherton surrounded by history and beauty.
However without the amazing volunteers at the Bumble Hole conservation group the land just wouldn’t look as beautiful and well kept. All year round these amazing volunteers work tirelessly to maintain and improve the space for wildlife and visitors.
This is also the case in the lead up and during our event in September where the volunteers work very closely with us to ensure that the site and paths are in a fantastic condition while maintaining the purpose of the site.
If you haven’t yet, please pop along to the visitors center and meet the amazing team of volunteers from the Bumble Hole Conservation Group and ask them about the hard work that they do.
On top of this year round commitment and support to BCBF. This year they have decided to donate to us and our event! So we would like to say a very big thank you. Not just for the donation but for everything they do!!
DIANA (Netherton) A big thank you to Diana who donated to this years BCBF through your friends at the Bumble Hole visitor centre, we appreciate your donation and it will go a very long way to ensuring this years event is a success.
